Andy WeddingManaging Director
Andy began his numismatic career in 1993. His first coin show was the American Numismatic Association's "World Fair of Money" held in Baltimore. He was bit by the bug, from that point he's dedicated himself to a career in Numismatics. Fortunately for Andy his career began with one of the most successful coin graders and wholesale rare coin companies in the business. Andy worked for Jack Hertzberg under the umbrella of Kenny Duncan and U.S. Coins for almost 13 years. He started at the bottom and began learning everything he could about selling coins, buying coins, grading coins and all aspects of the business. He was able to build friendships and establish great relationships with the top dealers in the country.
Andy is very great full for all he learned during this time and for the opportunities and responsibilities he was given. There could not have been a better building block or place to begin and make a career in Numismatics. Since then Andy has worked for Lone Star Numismatics with Brian Yutzy and LS Rare coins managing inventories, wholesale and retail accounts, websites and buying and selling rare U.S. gold and silver coins from fifty dollars to a million dollars.
Today, Andy can be found working want lists for retail and wholesale customers, traveling to major coin shows across the country and working at Rarities Vault, the new retail store buying and selling coins. Andy has found and helped place coins in a number of top Registry Sets and helped with grading a number of top sets. Andy enjoys all aspects of the business and is eager to share his knowledge and 23 years experience to help collectors attain their goals. After hours and weekends Andy can be found spending time with his family, traveling, fishing Alaska and teaching his daughters to ski and snowboard.
